History

Innovators. Visionaries.

In 1892, master baker Peter Küpper founded the traditional Aachen-based company as a one-man operation. The master baker's goal: to optimize his daily work of making Printen (a local form of ginger bread) and to develop a kneading machine that could produce larger quantities of Printen dough without immense physical effort.
Over the course of more than 130 years, the company has developed into an efficient industrial enterprise. Today, AMK is run by the fifth and sixth generations.
While in the early years Peter Küpper's customers were almost exclusively bakeries, the machines were soon used worldwide in all areas of the chemical, pharmaceutical, ceramic, and food industries.
Consistent further developments of the ideas of the company founder have led to the fact that today's Aachener Misch- und Knetmaschinenfabrik Peter Küpper GmbH & Co. KG is one of the world's leading manufacturers of mixing and kneading machines
